I'm hoping to go for my 40th birthday, so at least I have a couple years to save. Until then I'll learn and practise.Shelliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08758282383525747870noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5856106477563761138.post-71491075983827240542009-12-02T05:39:41.569-08:002009-12-02T05:39:41.569-08:00Yay, confirmation! ;-)

Trust me, you'll get by with even the most basic vocabulary... although I guess the thought of getting to practise your Hindi skills in India is probably a great incentive! Keep up the good work!Daddy's Girlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14679564351145843434noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5856106477563761138.post-65689832007213792392009-11-30T17:43:03.218-08:002009-11-30T17:43:03.218-08:00i imagine that's more common that one would re...i imagine that's more common that one would realize?Shelliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08758282383525747870noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5856106477563761138.post-27768955184640934552009-11-30T16:51:42.928-08:002009-11-30T16:51:42.928-08:00What bollyviewer means is that some english words ...What bollyviewer means is that some english words have become so common that other equivalent original words will not make sense to most indians - for eg in pure hindi bathroom could be "snan kagsh" or "Ghusal Khana" in urdu but nobody uses these words these days. What's Hindi for where's the bathroom?

I'm really hoping to get Rosetta Stone shortly in the new year. They teach you to read script as well as speak Hindi.
