Huzzah Delhi High Court!

India takes a step into the 21st Century with this monumental breakthrough in human rights. Even though the ruling only applies in New Delhi, at least it's a start to seeing some sort of equality over there. While I agree that there is something to be said for a culture that is steeply based in traditions, no man or woman should ever be persecuted for who they are sexually. Hopefully we'll see the rest of the country follow in their footsteps very soon.

Is Shah Rukh headed back to his television roots? It certainly seem like that may be the case. It looks like YashRaj films may be venturing into this small screen production with Shah Rukh, Preity and Rani helming the wheel in a new comedy series. Though, I don't understand why SRK would do a tv show for YashRaj when Red Chilies Entertainment has already attempted to enter the television arena with their Idiot Box. Plus, with Don 2 and Happy New Year already on his upcoming roster, I don't know when he would have the time.

On a personal note, I did a post a while back congratulating some fellow bloggers who were either featured or approached by magazines and the like for their amazing insights and writing. I remember thinking how wonderful these people were and maybe, one day, I may also be regarded with such high esteem. At any rate, the weekend is well under way. I tried to comfort myself last night from the fact that I wasn't in San Jose (though I checked out flight information!) and went to see Transformers: ROTF with some friends, who thought it was way too long. Hm, I didn't notice. The rest of the weekend isn't going to avail me much time for anything, however I am going to try and finish watching Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam.

And, finally, just because...
