Here's hoping

In conjunction to the teaser trailer I posted the other day, here is the full trailer for Love Aaj Kal. July 31st can not come fast enough as long as they play this one in Calgary. I can't wait!

What watch?

Think what you want about her acting, but there's no doubt that Deepika is a stunner. Check out her pics from Latin America's Vogue (incidentally, she's the first Indian actress to grace their cover - good on you girl!)

'Pardes' song "I Love India' is STILL in my head, so as I ponder when I may be able to travel India, I wondered about Aamir Khan's foray into Indian tourism. Here's the ads he did for them.

A bahut achcha day to all!

I hope you do get to go to India someday soon - I had the most amazing time there and can't wait to go again. THANK YOU for posting those SRK pics! It's bedtime and I am going to sleep with a smile on my face!

You are so welcome. I always try and end my day with a little SRK! India seems like a far away dream to me now, but I will get there, hopefully before I'm 40. That's my goal anyway.

Hey, do you live in Calgary, too?!! Maybe we've bumped into each other somewhere... :-D

Cant wait for Love Aaj Kal, to come here - I might even make the long trek to NE for it!

Bollyviewer - No, I'm in Red Deer. I try to make it up to Calgary about once a month to hit Bathia Cloth House, Bollywood Blockbuster and Nirvana (which has the best naan bread I've ever had"). I lived in Calgary years ago, but wasn't aware of this wonderful Bollyworld back then. What a waste. I think I may move back just so I'm closer to the NE! I really hope we get to see Love Aaj Kal come here. Definitely worth a drive for me!

Red Deer is certainly not close by! The things we do for movies... I remember driving four hours once, to go see Chalte Chalte in US. It was totally worth it because I hadnt seen a Hindi movie on the big screen for more than a year, at that point.

Bollywood Blockbuster is my favorite store, too! I can spend hours hanging out there. :-D And I just discovered Nirvana (all this time I thought it was a store and NEVER went in) after totally giving up on Indian restaurants in Calgary. Their naan restored my faith in Indian food here!

I've tried Bombay Sweet House and Punjabi Sweet House all in the same area, and Nirvana was by far the best I thought. I tried making my own naan tonight from scratch. Suffice it to say I'll still by going there for good naan!

I never go to Calgary without stopping in to BBlockbuster. The lady that works there is fantastic. We became fast friends. We've no Indian retail in Red Deer at all, so I have to go get my fix once in a while. My first Hindi movie was RNBDJ at MovieDome. Haven't been back yet, but hopefully soon!
