It absolutely amazes me at the number of insightful and intellectual Bollywood bloggers that there are outside of India, and the recognition that is bestowed upon them. I discovered Filmi Girl through a copy of Filmfare and saw that So They Dance was also featured in the same magazine. Today, during my morning rounds I read a comment on Beth Loves Bollywood's blog from a magazine in India that would like to feature her. To each of these wonderful writers (and the many others out there that are equally wonderful) I just wanted to say thanks.
Thanks for your astute annotations, your witty observations, your perspicacious conclusions. I can only hope, one day, to be included in this extraordinary league with these exceptional writers.
That aside, I am thrilled at the level of recognition that India has achieved at Cannes this year.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan attends the Spring Fever Premiere held at the Palais Des Festival. Look at that dress!
Hrithik Roshan poses with Latin American actress Barbara Mori during a portrait session to promote the movie "Kites" at the Majestic Hotel
And a sneak peek at their new film
If the poster and trailer are any indication, this is going to be one sexy, thrilling and exciting movie. I can not wait!
And a little non-Bolly from Cannes for my dearest friend...

You are in a league of your own my dear, we all have our own different styles, just stay true to yourself and keep blogging from the heart, don't get carried away or sidetracked by beeing exceptional. Passionate writing goes a long way, which i can sense from your writings and which i believe Filmigirl,so they dance and Beth have which then eventually got them noticed
Lots of love.....xx

You are too kind! I'm not really looking for international recognition anyway. I started blogging just to connect with other Bollywood lovers, such as yourself. Thanks so much!!!!!

Hrithik looks totally different in Kites... it looks like it'll be quite intense. Will be looking to watch that with you, Sis.
What does "perspicacious" mean? I guess I'll never be in that league, if I don't even know what that word means!? LOL

@ Bhargav - Whoever's styling Ash is doing a fantastic job.
@K - You're welcome :)
@Jules - I'm sure we will. Perspicacious is just a big word for observations. That's just me trying to be fancy.

Ash looks amazing in that first picture... she has a great glow these days, looks as beautiful as she ever did... I am not looking forward to Kites... for some reason I think it won't be very good - but I hope they prove me wrong!

@Daddy's Girl - Aish always seems to look so put together. I guess there are reasons why she's thought of as most beautiful in the world. As for Kites, I didn't know too much until I saw the trailer, but after reading Hrithik's comments the other day regarding it I may not see it just out of principal.
